Overview
The Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE) was established in 2007 by the Government of Delhi by amalgamating two independent societies: the Tool Room & Training Centre (Wazirpur) and the Hi-Tech Vocational Training Centre (Okhla). It currently operates from two campuses—Campus I at Wazirpur Industrial Area and Campus II at Okhla Industrial Area. Recently, DITE was integrated into the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). The institute is a pioneer in the field of Tool Engineering and Mechatronics, focusing on providing trained manpower for the micro, small, and medium-scale manufacturing industries.
