Admission
Admission to DA-IICT is highly competitive and is primarily governed by national and state-level entrance examination performance.
1. Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech. (ICT): Candidates must have passed the Class 12th (Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science) with at least 60% aggregate marks.

M.Tech. (ICT): Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in relevant branches (CS/IT/ECE/EE) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Qualifying Exams: For B.Tech., admission is conducted through JEE Main (All India Category) and GUJCET (Gujarat State Category). For M.Tech., a valid GATE score is required.

Relaxation: Relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST categories is provided as per Government of Gujarat and UGC norms.
2. Admission Process

Application: The process is entirely online via the official DA-IICT admission portal.

Application Fees: Approximately ₹1,200 for B.Tech. programs.

Shortlisting: For B.Tech., shortlisting is based on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main. For M.Tech., it is based on GATE scores, followed by an interview for certain specializations.

Final Selection: Final admission is granted through centralized counseling rounds where seats are allotted based on merit and category availability.
