Overview: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology (AKIT) is a government-funded engineering institution located at Tanakpur in Champawat district, Uttarakhand. The institute was established in 2016 with the objective of expanding access to quality technical education in the hilly and border regions of the state. Named after Dr. A.P.J.
