Dr.B. R.Ambedkar Law College, at The Shantam Education Campus in Naroda, Ahmedabad, is a new and rapidly developing law college. It opened its doors in 2019 and has affiliations with Gujarat University, as well as approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI). The College provides two legal courses, a three-year LL.B., for graduate in any streams, and a five year integrated B.A. LL.B course for students after having done class 12th education. Both programmes have an intake capacity of 120 students for all seats. Additionally, 12 seats are earmarked for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), bringing total intake for each of the programs to 132 students. 

The Law College emphasizes on bridging the gap between theory and application by providing a holistic learning environment where students can excel in all aspects of the legal field, including advocacy, research, writing, and analysis. The college uses several innovative techniques such as a library stocked with standard law texts, reference materials, journals and periodicals of the local, regional and international repute, in addition to electronic legal databases to support intensive research by the students and faculty members, as well as a well-facilitated Moot Court Hall for simulating courtroom practices, helping students gain hands-on experience of conducting proceedings, writing and defending briefs etc., and an ICT-enabled class rooms along with access to latest technology in IT. The campus being in a city environment, the students can benefit from all civic amenities and it promotes a robust urban as well as academic environment. To cater to accommodation, facilities for male and female students’ hostels are available on the campus, to offer them a conducive living and working atmosphere that will promote a healthy professional and personal environment.

The students for the courses in the College may apply directly by giving their mark sheets and required certificates. Depending on guidelines issued by Gujarat University, students may have to go through a entrance test or interview for qualifying.
