Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology), and English as core subjects.

• Minimum Marks Requirement:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

  • SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects

• Entrance Exam: Must qualify the NEET-UG 2025 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission is strictly merit-based through NEET scores.

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure

1. NEET Qualification: Candidates must appear for and qualify NEET-UG 2025. Only those who meet the minimum percentile criteria are eligible to participate in counselling.

2. Counselling Registration: Eligible candidates must register for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling through the official portal of Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.

3. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: During counselling, candidates can select Drs. Sudha & Nageswara Rao Siddhartha Institute of Dental Sciences as a preferred college. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and seat availability under:

   • Government Quota (Category A)

   • Management Quota (Category B)

   • NRI Quota (Category C)

4. Document Verification After seat allotment, candidates must report to the college with original documents for verification. This includes:

   • NEET scorecard

   • 10th and 12th mark sheets

   • Caste certificate (if applicable)

   • Transfer and conduct certificates

   • Passport-size photographs

5. Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation - Upon successful verification, candidates must pay the tuition and university fees to confirm their admission.

• The BDS program is a 5-year course, including a 1-year compulsory rotating internship.
