BDS Admission Process at KGMU (2025 – Tentative)
Admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at KGMU is governed by centralized counselling and follows these key steps:

NEET-UG Examination Candidates must appear for and qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Minimum Qualification Requirement To be eligible for counselling, candidates must secure the minimum qualifying percentile/marks in NEET-UG for the current admission year.

Counselling Quotas Admission is conducted under two distinct quotas:

All India Quota (AIQ): 15% of total seats are filled through counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Open to candidates nationwide.

Uttar Pradesh State Quota: 85% of seats are reserved for candidates with UP domicile, managed by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh.
