Overview: The Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is a private self-financing engineering college established in 2002, run by the Federal Bank Officers' Association Educational Society (FBOAES). Located in Mookkannoor, Angamaly, the campus is known as "Hormis Nagar" in memory of Late K.P. Hormis, the founder of Federal Bank. Spread over a 25-acre campus, the Central Computing Facility (CCF) spans 15,000 sq. ft. and houses over 500 computers with 2 Gbps internet connectivity. The Library and Information Centre (LIC) is a three-storeyed automated facility with 62,000 volumes. Accredited with NAAC 'A ' Grade and several NBA accredited B.Tech programs, the institute recorded a highest package of ₹47.88 LPA, an average package of ₹5.70 LPA, and a placement rate of 85%.
