Overview: Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) is a Central University established in 2022 (upgraded from NRTI) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Located in Vadodara, Gujarat, it is the country's first university dedicated to the transportation and logistics sectors. The institute is recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. It focuses on multidisciplinary education in transport technology, management, and policy. The GSV students are uniquely qualified to significantly contribute to transportation related industries and crucially cater to the rising demands of the global economic order. Ranked 44th in the "Transportation and Logistics" category by NIRF 2023 and 44th among Top Central Universities in India by IIRF 2024, the institute recorded an average package of ₹7 LPA and a highest package of ₹16 LPA.
