Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany & Zoology, and English as core subjects.

• Minimum Marks Requirement:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

  • SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2025.

• Entrance Exam: Must qualify the NEET-UG 2025 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission is strictly based on NEET merit as per National Medical Council (NMC) guidelines.

Admission Procedure

1. NEET-UG Qualification: Candidates must appear for and qualify NEET-UG 2025. Only those meeting the minimum percentile criteria are eligible for counselling.

2. Counselling Registration: Eligible candidates must register for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling through the official portal of Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.

3. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: During counselling, candidates can select GITAM Dental College and Hospital as a preferred choice. Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and seat availability under:

   • A Category (Government Quota)

   • B Category (Management Quota)

   • C Category (NRI/Management Quota)

4. Document Verification: After seat allotment, candidates must report to the college with original documents for verification. Required documents include:

   • NEET-UG scorecard

   • 10th and 12th mark sheets

   • Transfer and conduct certificates

   • Caste certificate (if applicable)

   • Passport-size photographs

5. Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation: Upon successful verification, candidates must pay the tuition and auxiliary fees to confirm admission. The first-year fee must be paid in full at the time of admission.

Fee Details (Indicative)

• Tuition Fee: ₹14,300 per year

• Auxiliary Fees: ₹85,000 per year (includes Wi-Fi, transportation, materials, library, and miscellaneous)

• Caution Deposit: ₹25,000 (refundable).
