GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE BUXAR

Government Engineering College, Buxar (GEC Buxar) is a state-government technical institution in Bihar, established in 2019 as part of the Bihar government’s initiative to strengthen quality technical education under the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department. The college was initially functioning from Bakhtiyarpur but shifted to its permanent campus at Mahdah, Buxar, on 15 April 2024. Academically, Government Engineering College, Buxar is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University (BEU), Patna, and was earlier affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, ensuring adherence to national standards for technical education.
