Government Dental College & Hospital (GDC&H), Mumbai is one of the oldest and most prestigious dental institutions in India, established in 1938. It holds the distinction of being the first dental college in the country, setting the foundation for formal dental education in India. Affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), the college has played a pioneering role in producing some of the finest dental professionals in the nation.
Located in the heart of Mumbai, the college offers undergraduate (BDS), postgraduate (MDS), and doctoral-level (Ph.D.) programs in various specializations of dentistry.
