Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T)

Overview: Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, was established on October 20, 1995, by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana. Named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a 15th-century saint and environmentalist, the university was founded to promote research in emerging areas of higher education with a focus on technology, pharmacy, environmental studies, and management. Spread over a sprawling 372 acres in Hisar, the university features a massive central library with over 1,20,000 books, 5,000 e-journals, and a 40-acre sports complex. Awarded NAAC A Grade (CGPA 3.38) and ranked 47th among State Public Universities by NIRF, it is the only state university in Haryana consistently ranked in global engineering subject categories.
