IEC GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS

IEC Group of Institutions, established in 1981 as the India Education Centre, has evolved from a computer education pioneer into a multi-disciplinary powerhouse of technical and professional learning. The institute is a prominent constituent of the IEC Group, which has a legacy spanning over four decades in the education sector. Spread across a sprawling 10-acre lush green campus in the heart of Greater Noida's institutional area, the college provides an intellectually stimulating environment designed to foster innovation and academic excellence. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. It has consistently maintained high standards of quality, reflected in its ISO certifications and its focus on aligning curriculum with industry 4.0 standards. The history of IEC is marked by its transition from a specialized software training center to a full-fledged technical group in 1996, eventually establishing the IEC College of Engineering and Technology in 1999. Over the years, the institute has built a robust infrastructure comprising more than 80 specialized laboratories. These include the Advanced Robotics Lab, Cloud Computing Lab, Bosch Rexroth Centre of Excellence, Microwave Engineering Lab, Embedded System Lab, and the specialized Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics labs for its pharmacy wing. The institute places a heavy emphasis on "Learning by Doing," which is supported by these modern facilities and a digital library containing thousands of e-journals and reference books. While the college actively pursues quality benchmarks, it remains a dedicated participant in the NAAC accreditation cycles to ensure continuous improvement in its pedagogical frameworks.
