Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with consistent academic performance
• Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience in a managerial/entrepreneurial/ professional role as on May 31, 2025,after completion of Graduation
• The applicant must have a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE score to apply for the program. Alternatively, the interested candidates can also choose to take the IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT) along the lines of the CAT Examination.

IIM Amritsar Application Process 

IIM Amritsar just like any other IIMs induct candidates for the flagship MBA programme based on valid CAT scores. Hence, it is mandatory for students seeking admission to the MBA programme at IIM Amritsar to fill out the CAT application form. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 2,400 (for UR candidates) and INR 1,200 (for reserved categories). Find below the steps to fill out the CAT application form:

Step 1: Visit the official website: iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on "New Registration" and register by entering a few basic details.

Step 3: Login with the ID and fill out the application form.

Step 4: Upload the required documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee via credit/debit card or net banking.

Before starting the CAT registration process for admission to the MBA programme at IIM Amritsar, students must keep the following documents with them:

• Class 10 mark sheet

• Class 12 mark sheet

• UG degree

• Work experience certificate (if applicable)

• Adhaar Card

• Date of Birth proof

• Address proof

• Caste category certificate (if applicable)

• Scanned images of photograph and signature

• Credit/ Debit card or Internet banking details for fee payment.
