IIM Indore Admission Overview
Eligibility Criteria
- PGP / PGP HRM
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (CA/CS/ICWA/FIAI) with ≥50% (≥45% for SC/ST/PwD).
- Selection: CAT, PI, WAT, Class 10 & 12 marks, Academic Diversity, Work Experience.
- IPM (Integrated Program in Management)
- Eligibility: Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Selection: IPMAT, PI.
- E-PGP (Executive Post Graduate Program)
- Eligibility:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree with ≥50%, OR
- Three-year Bachelor’s Master’s degree with ≥50% each, OR
- Five-year integrated course with ≥50%.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial/entrepreneurial/professional experience.
- Selection: GMAT/GRE/CAT, PI.
- Eligibility:
- FPM (Fellow Programme in Management)
- Eligibility: PG degree or professional qualification with ≥60% (≥55% for SC/ST/PwD).
- Selection: CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF (Economics).
- E-FPM (Executive Fellow Programme in Management)
- Eligibility: PG or professional degree with ≥60% Minimum 5 years of work experience.
- Selection: RAT (Research Aptitude Test), PI (or CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF (Economics)).
Admission process
- Register for CAT
- Candidates must register for CAT and apply for the PGP program within the same form.
- No separate application fee if IIM Indore is selected as a preferred institute.
- CAT Exam
- Applicants must appear for the CAT exam conducted across centers in India.
- Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)
- Based on CAT scores, category-wise.
- Personal Interview
- Conducted offline in: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai.
- Final Merit List
- Composite score derived from: Class 10 & 12 marks, CAT score, PI score.
IIM Indore CAT Cutoff
For the General category, IIM Indore sets a CAT cutoff of 90 percentile overall and 80 percentile for each section. The table below outlines the section-wise cutoff criteria at IIM Indore.
