ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 B.Tech

• Qualification Required: 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

• Admission Mode:

• JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced

• JoSAA / CSAB Counseling

Admission Process 

The admission is a centralized, competitive process conducted in phases:

1. JEE Main 2026: Serves as a screening test. Session 2 is scheduled for April 1 to April 10, 2026.

2. JEE Advanced 2026: The definitive exam for IIT merit.

   • Registration: April 23 – May 2, 2026.

   • Exam Date: May 17, 2026.

   • Results: June 1, 2026.

3. JoSAA Counselling: Starting June 2, 2026, you must register on the JoSAA portal and list "IIT Bhilai" and your preferred branches in order of priority.

4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated over 6 rounds based on your All India Rank (AIR), category, and choice list.

5. Confirmation: If allotted a seat, you must pay the "Seat Acceptance Fee"  and complete online document verification.
