 B.Tech

• Qualification Required: 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

• Admission Mode:

• JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced

• JoSAA / CSAB Counseling

Admission Process 

The admission is managed centrally through the following stages:

1. JEE Main (Screening): Session 2 is currently scheduled for April 2 – April 9, 2026.

2. JEE Advanced (Selection): Registration opens on April 23, 2026, with the exam being held on May 17, 2026. This is the only exam used to calculate your "All India Rank" (AIR) for IIT admission.

3. JoSAA Counselling: Starting in early June 2026, you must register on the JoSAA portal and list "IIT Hyderabad" and your preferred branches in order of priority.

4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated over 6 rounds based on merit, category, and availability.
