Established in 2008, the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is one of the second-generation IITs that has rapidly emerged as a premier center for technical education, research, and innovation in India. In the NIRF 2025 rankings, it reached the 7th rank among Engineering institutes in India, surpassing several first-generation IITs. It also holds strong positions in Innovation (6th) and Research (15th).
