Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), Lucknow is a state government‑funded engineering institute established in 1984 on Sitapur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – 226021, India. It is an autonomous constituent institute of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by regulatory bodies. The campus occupies around 100 acres and includes academic blocks, administrative blocks, separate boys’ and girls’ hostels, residential facilities for staff, and extensive infrastructure for engineering education. The institute offers undergraduate (B.Tech) programmes in core engineering disciplines, and maintains well‑equipped laboratories for each department, including labs for Applied Sciences, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and related subjects to support practical and research work as part of the curriculum.
