Overview: Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management has been established by the Government of Gujarat as an Autonomous University and has been mandated to bring about significant change in Engineering Education with respect to Technical and Managerial knowledge in the area of Infrastructure. Established in 2013 by the Government of Gujarat as an autonomous university under the Gujarat Act, IITRAM is a public state university fully funded and governed by Gujarat Govt, AICTE-approved, UGC-recognized, and with NBA accreditation for several B.Tech programs. It is one of the few specialized institutes in India focused on infrastructure engineering, technology, research, and management, addressing needs like smart cities, highways, urban transformation, water resources, and sustainable infrastructure. The campus is located at Maninagar, Ahmedabad in an urban location near Maninagar railway station, spread over a compact but well-equipped area with modern infrastructure. Key facilities include advanced structural engineering labs, concrete technology lab, geotechnical lab, transportation engineering lab, surveying lab with total stations, environmental engineering lab, power systems lab, electrical machines lab, high-performance computing lab, GIS & remote sensing lab, and CAD/CAM lab. Ranked in NIRF 2025 Overall 51-100 band (State Public University category) and Engineering 201-300 band.
