Institute of Science & Technology (IST) is a private engineering and technology institute located at Dhurabila, Dhamkuria, Chandrakona Town, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, 721201, India. It was established in 2005 under the umbrella of Gopsai Avinandan Sangha, a registered society with a mission to expand access to technical education in rural and semi-urban areas of West Bengal. The institute is recognized by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal for its B.Tech and M.Tech programmes. IST’s campus blends academic infrastructure, laboratories, classrooms, and other facilities to create an environment conducive to learning and professional growth.
