Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission at ISMA
Ivanovo State Medical Academy welcomes international applicants, including Indian students, to its globally recognized MBBS program. To ensure a smooth admission process, candidates must meet the following academic and regulatory requirements:
Academic Qualifications

Educational Background: Applicants must have successfully completed Higher Secondary Education (10 2 or equivalent) from a recognized board such as CBSE, ISC, or any state board.

Compulsory Subjects: The qualifying examination must include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects. English is also required as a compulsory subject to ensure proficiency in the medium of instruction.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

General Category: A minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB is required.

Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): A relaxed minimum aggregate of 40% in PCB is accepted, in accordance with Indian government norms.

These academic standards ensure that students possess the foundational knowledge necessary for rigorous medical training.
NEET Qualification & Age Criteria

NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test):

As per the guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), it is mandatory for all Indian students seeking admission to foreign medical universities to qualify the NEET UG examination.

The NEET score must meet the qualifying cutoff for the respective academic year of admission. A valid NEET scorecard is required at the time of application.

Age Requirement:

Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st in the year of admission.

There is no upper age limit currently enforced for MBBS admission abroad, but students are advised to check for any updates from NMC or the Medical Council of India.

Meeting these criteria ensures eligibility for admission to ISMA’s MBBS program, which is recognized by global medical bodies including NMC (India) and WHO.
