Overview: Established through the JIS University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act XXII of 2014), JIS University came into existence in February 2015 with a vision to redefine higher education in India. All courses are accredited by prestigious bodies like UGC, AICTE, BCI, PCI, NCTE, and UNAI. Since 2017, the university has been a proud member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). At JIS University, education is industry-focused, blending cutting-edge Learning Management Systems (LMS) with traditional teaching to foster professionals who drive societal change.
