Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech
To be eligible for the session, candidates must satisfy the academic requirements set by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th (Higher Secondary) examination from a recognized board (CBSE, TNSB, ICSE, etc.).

Core Subjects: Must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

Minimum Aggregate Marks (in PCM):

General Category: Minimum 45% marks.

BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST: Minimum 40% marks.

Lateral Entry: Candidates with a relevant Diploma in Engineering or a B.Sc. degree (with Mathematics at 12th) are eligible for direct entry into the 2nd year (3rd semester).
Admission Process
The admission process is divided between the Government Quota and the Management Quota.
1. Government Quota (TNEA)
Most seats are filled through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA):

Registration: Apply online on the TNEA official portal.

Merit Ranking: A rank list is published based on 12th PCM marks. No entrance exam is required for this quota.

Counseling: Candidates must participate in the online counseling process and select KSRCE (College Code: 2607) during choice filling.

Allotment: Seats are allotted based on merit and communal reservation.
2. Management Quota

Direct Admission: Candidates can apply directly to the college for seats reserved under the Management Quota.

Criteria: Admission is usually based on institutional merit and marks obtained in the qualifying 12th examination.

Community Certificate (for reservation categories).

Nativity Certificate (if applicable).
