Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMCLU), formerly known as Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University, is a state university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2009 under the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, it was originally founded to promote the study of Urdu, Arabic, and Persian languages. However, the university has since evolved into a multidisciplinary institution, expanding its academic reach to include modern sciences, technology, engineering, and professional studies. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and holds a NAAC accreditation with a 'B ' grade, reflecting its commitment to maintaining quality standards in higher education.
