Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission – KIMS Dental College and Hospital-
To be considered for admission into the BDS program, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Age Requirement: Applicants must have attained the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

Academic Qualifications: Completion of the 10 2 examination (or its equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as individual subjects is mandatory.

Minimum Marks:

General and EWS candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Candidates from SC, ST, or OBC categories are eligible with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the same subjects.

Entrance Examination: All applicants must appear for and qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission is strictly based on NEET-UG performance.
Admission Process
Admission to the BDS program at KIMS Dental College is conducted through a centralized counseling process overseen by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, which manages seat allocation for dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
Once NEET-UG results are announced:

Eligible candidates must register for the state counseling process.

During counseling, candidates can select KIMS Dental College as a preferred choice.

Seat allotment is determined based on NEET rank, availability of seats, and applicable reservation policies.

Upon allotment, candidates must complete document verification and pay the requisite fees to confirm admission.
