Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at VKIDS, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification Must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Marks Requirement

General Category: Minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum of 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

NEET-UG Qualification Candidates must have appeared for and qualified in the NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admission is based on the All India Rank obtained in NEET-UG.

Age Requirement Must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2025.

Citizenship Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Admission Process

Counseling for All India Quota (AIQ) VKIDS is a Deemed University, so admission to its BDS program is handled through centralized counseling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 100% of seats.

Counseling for State Quota Candidates may also apply through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for state/private quota seats, depending on eligibility.

Seat Allotment Seats are allotted based on NEET-UG rank, category, preferences, and seat availability.

Reporting and Admission Confirmation Candidates allotted a seat must report to the institute within the specified timeline for document verification and fee payment to confirm admission.
