The Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology (KPRIT), popularly known as KPRIT College of Engineering, is a premier autonomous engineering institution situated in the Rangareddy district of Telangana. Established in 2008 by the Kommuri Pratap Reddy Educational Society (KPRES), the college was founded with a vision to provide high-quality technical education on par with international standards. Spanning a lush, sprawling campus of 22 acres, the institute offers a serene and pollution-free environment that is highly conducive to academic excellence and innovation. As an autonomous institution affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, KPRIT has consistently evolved its curriculum to meet the dynamic needs of the global industry. The institution is recognized for its commitment to quality, evidenced by its NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation and NBA accreditation for several of its core engineering departments. The university features specialized labs across various disciplines, including the Strength of Materials Lab, Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics Machinery Lab, Surveying Lab, Engineering Geology Lab, Geotechnical Engineering Lab, CAD & GIS Lab, Concrete and Highway Engineering Lab, and Environmental Engineering Lab for Civil Engineering. Other departments are equipped with Advanced Communication Labs, Digital Signal Processing Labs, Power Electronics Labs, and high-end Computer Centers for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence studies.
