BDS Eligibility Criteria
To secure admission into the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualification
Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with the following subjects:- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology/Biotechnology
- English (as a compulsory subject)

Minimum Marks Requirement
- General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology
- SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects
- Candidates must also pass each subject individually

NEET-UG Qualification
Admission is strictly based on performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must:- Qualify with the minimum percentile set by NTA for the respective category
- Participate in centralized counseling based on NEET rank

Must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2025
Admission Process Overview
- Entrance Exam: NEET-UG is mandatory for all BDS aspirants
- Counseling Registration:
- For State Quota (Karnataka): Register through Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)
- For All India Quota (AIQ): Register via Medical Counseling Committee (MCC)
- Choice Filling: Select Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences during counseling rounds
- Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, category, and seat availability
- Reporting: Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college for document verification and fee payment.
