Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering (LDCE), Ahmedabad, is a premier government engineering institute in Gujarat, established with the vision of advancing education, research, and training in the fields of engineering and technology. The institute is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad, and operates under the administration of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat. Founded in June 1948 through the generous donation of ₹25 lakhs and 31.2 hectares of land by renowned industrialist Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai, the college was named in honor of his father, Lalbhai Dalpatbhai.
