M. A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre

M. A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Pune, established in 2001, stands as a premier institution in dental education and research. Situated in the heart of Pune, Maharashtra, the college is part of the Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society (M.C.E. Society) and operates under the stewardship of Dr. Ramandeep Dugal, the current Principal.

The college was founded through the philanthropic vision of the late Janab M. A. Rangoonwala, with the foundation stone laid on November 21, 1998, by Mrs. Banobai Rangoonwala and Mr. Asif Rangoonwala. The institution was inaugurated on November 11, 2001, by Mrs. Banobai Rangoonwala and Mr. Asif Rangoonwala, with the event presided over by Hon'ble Digvijay Khanvilkar, Health Minister of Maharashtra.

Affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), the college offers both undergraduate (BDS) and postgraduate (MDS) programs across various dental specialties. The BDS program admits 100 students annually, while the MDS program accommodates 48 students across eight specialties. 

The college boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, modern dental clinics, and a highly experienced faculty. Additionally, it offers certification courses in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in collaboration with the International Maxillofacial Prosthetic Training (IMPT) from the UK, a Diploma in Dental Laser in coordination with the Society of Laser Application (SOLA) and faculty from the University of Vienna, Austria, and is a recognized IGNOU center for a Diploma in Endodontics.
