1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualifications: For B.Tech (Engineering) programs, candidates must have passed 10 2 (High School) with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. For M.Tech, a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is required.

  • Qualifying Examination: Admission is primarily based on the merit of the qualifying examination (12th for UG and Graduation for PG). Scores from national-level entrance exams like JEE Main (for B.Tech) or GATE (for M.Tech) are given preference during the shortlisting process.

  • Cut-off Marks: The cut-off marks vary annually based on the volume of applications; however, meeting the minimum percentage in the 10 2 or Graduation level is a primary requirement.

  • Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks is provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) and PwD categories as per state government norms.

2. Admission Process

  • Application Mode: The university offers both Online and Offline application modes. Candidates can apply through the official website portal or visit the campus admission cell.

  • Application Fee: An application/registration fee is applicable at the time of submission (typically ranging around ₹1,000 to ₹1,500, subject to the specific session).

  • Shortlisting & Selection: Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic merit. For engineering programs, the university prepares a merit list based on 10 2 scores or entrance exam ranks.

  • Final Selection: Final admission is confirmed after document verification and payment of the admission fee. The university releases merit lists periodically during the admission cycle.
