Mari State University (MarSU)
Mari State University (MarSU), located in Yoshkar-Ola, Russia, is one of the reputed and recognized medical universities in the country. NMC Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Russia (Applicable for MarSU)

NMC Standards for Mari State University
As per the NMC Gazette 2021, Indian students pursuing MBBS abroad (including at Mari State University) must meet the following conditions:

The MBBS course should be of at least 54 months duration (MarSU offers a 6-year MBBS program).

A 1-year mandatory internship must be completed (MarSU provides clinical training in its own teaching hospitals and partner healthcare centers).

After graduation, students are required to qualify FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) or the NEXT Exam in India to obtain a medical license and practice as doctors.
