National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP) is a public technical institute and an Institute of National Importance established in 2015 under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is the 31st NIT and offers undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech, MS) and doctoral programmes in engineering and science disciplines. The institute operates from its permanent campus in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari district on 172.6 acres near National Highway 16, with modern academic infrastructure including departmental laboratories, computing facilities, central research labs, workshops, and R&D centres that support teaching and research in core and emerging technologies.
