National Institute of Technology Goa-B.Tech Admission,Eligibility Critera 

Admission Process

• Admission is conducted through JEE Main, followed by centralized counselling via JoSAA/CSAB.

• Candidates must register for JEE Main, qualify with a valid score, and then participate in JoSAA counselling.

• Seat allotment is based on JEE Main rank, category, and preferences filled during counselling.

• Final admission requires reporting to NIT Goa with documents and fee payment.

 Eligibility Criteria

• Must have passed 12th (Class XII) with:

  • Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

  • Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Technical Vocational subject as the third subject.

• Minimum aggregate marks:

  • 75% in Class XII (General category) or top 20 percentile in board exams.

  • 65% for SC/ST candidates.

• Must qualify in JEE Main.

 Documents Required for Admission

• JEE Main Admit Card & Rank Card.

• Class 10th mark sheet & certificate.

• Class 12th mark sheet & certificate.

• Transfer/Migration Certificate.

• Character Certificate from last attended institution.

• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable).

• Domicile Certificate (if required for state quota).

• Passport-size photographs.

• Identity Proof (Aadhaar card, Passport, etc.).

• Fee payment receipt.
