Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for BDS admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

  • Minimum Marks:

    • General Category: 50% aggregate in PCB.

    • SC/ST/OBC Categories: 40% aggregate.

    • General-PwD Category: 45% aggregate.

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.

  • NEET-UG Qualification: Must qualify NEET-UG with the minimum percentile required for the respective category.

 Admission Procedure

  1. NEET-UG Examination- Candidates must appear for and qualify in the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET scores are the sole basis for admission.

  2. Counseling Registration After NEET results are declared, candidates must register for counseling:

    • State Quota: Through

    • All India Quota/Management/NRI Quota: Through

  3. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment- Candidates submit their preferences for colleges and courses. Based on NEET rank, category, and choices, seats are allotted provisionally.

  4. Reporting & Document Verification- Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

  5. Special Categories- NHDCRI also admits students under specific categories such as:

    • Local Talent

    • NRI

    • Foreign Nationals (with additional requirements like No Objection Certificate, Student Visa, and Police Clearance).
