PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iTech) is a private engineering college located in Neelambur, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 2014 by PSG and Sons' Charities (part of the renowned PSG group), it is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC A and NBA (for some programs), and has recently achieved autonomous status. Lab Details ​The campus is designed with state-of-the-art research centers and laboratories that support industrial consultancy and student projects: ​Department Labs: Standard labs for all branches including Structural Engineering Lab, VLSI Design Lab, Thermal Engineering Lab, and Electrical Machines Lab. ​Water and Sanitation Lab: A specialized research facility for wastewater treatment, dye effluent analysis, and clean water access. ​Materials Processing & Testing Lab (MPTL): Equipped with Pin-on-Disk Tribometers, 3D Printers (FDM), and Universal Dynamic Testing Machines. ​Functional Materials Lab: Focuses on supercapacitors, batteries, and electrochemical sensors. ​Polymer Engineering Lab: Research facility for high-performance engineering applications and biodegradable films. ​Product Innovation Center: An interdisciplinary space for students to work on prototypes and startup ideas.
