BDS Eligibility Requirements

1. Educational Qualification

   • Must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

   • Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

2. Minimum Marks

   • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

   • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

   • General-PwD Category: Minimum 45% aggregate.

3. Age Requirement

   • Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st in the year of admission (i.e., by December 31, 2025 for the 2025–26 academic year).

   • There is no upper age limit for NEET-UG as per current guidelines.

4. NEET-UG Qualification

   • Must appear for and qualify in the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

   • Minimum qualifying percentile:

     • General Category: 50th percentile

     • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

     • General-PwD: 45th percentile

5. Counselling and Admission

   • Admission is granted through Kerala NEET-UG counselling conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

   • Candidates must register for counselling and participate in seat allotment based on NEET rank and category.
