RAJASTHAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, KOTA

Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota is a public state technical university located on Rawatbhata Road, Kota, Rajasthan – 324010, India. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to centralize and strengthen technical education in the state. RTU operates from the site of the former University College of Engineering, Kota and serves as the affiliating body for a large network of technical and professional colleges across Rajasthan. RTU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and functions under the framework of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for technical programs offered through its affiliated institutions. The university’s main campus spreads across approximately 385 acres of green, urban campus along the banks of the Chambal River in Kota, offering modern academic facilities. As an affiliating university, RTU oversees undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs delivered through its departments and affiliated colleges. These include B.Tech (Engineering), M.Tech (Engineering), MBA (Management), MCA (Computer Applications), B.Arch, M.Arch, and other professional degrees. RTU’s campus and network of colleges provide well-equipped laboratories, workshops, libraries, and research facilities to support practical learning and academic development across engineering and related disciplines.
