Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 2013 under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, dedicated to aviation education, research and industry-oriented training. It is India’s first aviation-focused university with programmes designed to meet the evolving needs of the aviation sector and advanced research in aviation sciences and management. The curriculum includes aviation technology, airport operations, avionics and aerospace systems, supported by aviation-oriented infrastructure on campus near Fursatganj Airfield which facilitates practical exposure and research collaboration with industry partners; the university offers labs and simulation resources aligned to B.Tech programmes in Aerospace Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering (Avionics), incorporating elements of aircraft systems, control, avionics and aerodynamics. RGNAU collaborates with aviation stakeholders to provide experiential learning and industry integration.
