RAJKIYA ENGINEERING COLLEGE, AMBEDKAR NAGAR

Rajkiya Engineering College (REC), Ambedkar Nagar, was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2010. Initially, the college started its academic journey under the mentorship of Kamala Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT), Sultanpur, and later shifted to its own dedicated campus in 2012. As a constituent government institute, it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. The institute is spread across a massive and well-planned campus of approximately 60 acres, providing an environment that is both academically rigorous and serene. The college has been consistently working towards achieving high standards of technical education, and its programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of the global industry. The history of REC Ambedkar Nagar is rooted in the state government's initiative to expand quality technical education into the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh. Since its inception, the college has developed a comprehensive infrastructural framework. It houses several specialized and advanced laboratories across its departments, including the Computer Science Labs (Programming, Networking, and Database), Civil Engineering Labs (Structural, Surveying, Geotechnical, and Environmental), and Electrical Engineering Labs (Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, and Microprocessors). The institute also features specialized workshops and a high-speed centralized computing facility. These labs are equipped with the latest technology to ensure students receive hands-on experience, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications. Subjectively, REC Ambedkar Nagar is distinguished by its strong faculty-student bond and a culture of technical innovation.
