Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Rajkiya Engineering College (formerly Rajkiya Engineering College), Pratapgarh was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the academic session 2023–24 as a state-funded government engineering institution. Affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and approved by AICTE, operates from its permanent campus in Pratapgarh starting August 2025. The institute focuses on inclusive technical education, innovation in AI/ML/IoT, research and serving economically weaker sections. Laboratory Details ​The institution is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories developed in accordance with AICTE norms to facilitate hands-on technical training: ​Computing Laboratories: State-of-the-art computer center and computing labs with 24/7 uninterrupted internet access. ​Electrical Engineering Labs: Equipped for design, development, and diagnostics within the electrical domain. ​Mechanical Engineering Labs: Facilities covering core principles such as thermodynamics and manufacturing. ​Civil Engineering Labs: Modern labs for infrastructure planning, design, and analysis. ​Applied Science & Language Labs: Specialized laboratories for physics, chemistry, and a dedicated Language Lab for communication skills enhancement.
