Overview: Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, came into existence fulfilling the long-cherished dream of people of Kurnool district in the year 2008, by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Kurnool is the only city in India located between two rivers: Tungabhadra and Handri. The university has a dedicated College of Engineering (RUCE) that offers B.Tech degrees in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science (CSE), Electronics and Communication (ECE), Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, with recently upgraded IoT Labs, Signal Processing & VLSI Labs, and Smart Classrooms. Admissions are primarily based on AP EAPCET (EAMCET) scores.
