B.Tech Admission Categories
Admissions at RK University are divided into two main categories, following the guidelines of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat:

ACPC Quota (50% - 75%): These seats are filled through the centralized counseling process based on the merit list prepared by ACPC Gujarat.

Management Quota (25% - 50%): These seats are filled directly by the university based on the candidate's merit in entrance exams (GUJCET/JEE Main) and their 12th marks.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the B.Tech program at RK University, candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
| Feature | Requirement |
| Academic Qualification | Passed 12th (Higher Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board (GSEB, CBSE, ICSE). |
| Mandatory Subjects | Must have passed with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject. |
| Minimum Aggregate Marks | At least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/SEBC categories). |
| Entrance Exam | A valid score/rank in GUJCET is mandatory for the ACPC quota. JEE Main is also accepted for the Management/All India quota. |
| Lateral Entry (D2D) | Diploma holders with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) are eligible for direct admission to the 2nd year (3rd semester). |

Entrance Exam: Register and appear for GUJCET 2026 or JEE Main.

ACPC Registration: Once the 12th results are announced, register on the ACPC Gujarat Portal for the centralized admission process.

University Application: If you are seeking admission under the Management Quota, you should also apply directly through the RK University Admission Portal.

Choice Filling: During the ACPC counseling rounds, select "RK University, Rajkot" and your preferred engineering branches.

Seat Allotment: Based on your merit rank and choices, a seat will be allotted to you.

Confirmation: Pay the token tuition fee to ACPC and report to the university with all original documents for final verification and admission.
