B.E./B.Tech: Through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) single-window counseling based on Class 12 normalized cutoff marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). Government Quota seats via TNEA; Management Quota seats directly through the college.
Lateral entry for diploma holders available.
M.E./M.Tech: Based on TANCET or GATE scores.

B.E. Computer Science and Engineering: Around 29,535 (Round 1/overall).
B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering: Around 35,873 (Round 1).
B.E. Information Technology / Other branches: Ranges from ~22,558–36,336 (lower rounds) to higher like 169,256 in later rounds for less competitive branches.
Overall across branches: 22,558–169,256 in Round 3. Reserved categories (BC/MBC/SC/ST) have significantly relaxed cutoffs. Check official TNEA portal or rmd.ac.in for exact round-wise 2025 data.
