Overview: Roland Institute of Technology (RIT) was established by Roland Educational and Charitable Trust (RECT) in 2001 with an objective to promote quality technical education for the rural and urban students of South Odisha. The institution is spread over a sprawling campus of 35 acres located at Surya Vihar, Golanthara, Berhampur, and is well connected by East Coast Railway, with the institution gate opening to NH 16. Surrounded by the exhilarating nature of Palur Hills and greenery, it provides a conducive atmosphere for technical education. RIT offers B.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, along with PG courses in MCA and MBA. The institution has state-of-the-art infrastructure including a good library facility, hostel accommodation on campus, Wi-Fi internet, a central computing facility, gymnasium, and air-conditioned seminar halls.
