Indian students who wish to study MBBS at Peoples’ Friendship University must meet the eligibility norms prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC), India:

NMC Standards for Peoples’ Friendship University (RUDN)
As per the NMC Gazette 2021, Indian students pursuing MBBS abroad (including RUDN) must meet these conditions:

Course Duration: The MBBS program must be at least 54 months. RUDN offers a 6-year MBBS course.

Internship: Students must complete a mandatory 1-year internship. RUDN provides practical training in its own hospitals and affiliated healthcare centers.

Licensing Exam in India: After completing the program, graduates must clear the FMGE or NEXT exam in India to receive a medical license and practice legally.
