Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech
To be eligible for the academic session, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualification: Pass 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, or State Boards).

Compulsory Subjects: Must have studied Physics, Mathematics, and any one from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.

Minimum Marks: At least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the required subjects.

Age Limit: Generally, candidates must follow the age criteria specified by JoSAA/CSAB or the institute's internal exam (SET).
Admission Process
SLIET has two primary routes for admission into the 4-year B.Tech program:
1. Through JEE Main (Direct Entry)
The majority of seats are filled through national-level counseling:

Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for JEE Main.

Counseling: Admission is conducted via JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board).

Selection: Based on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main.
2. Through SLIET Entrance Test (SET-III)
This route is specifically for students who have completed the SLIET ICD (Integrated Certificate-Diploma) or lateral entry seekers:

SET-III Exam: An internal entrance test conducted by the institute.

Lateral Entry: Allows students with a relevant Diploma to enter directly into the 2nd year (3rd semester) of the B.Tech program.

JEE Main Scorecard / SLIET SET Admit Card & Result.

Provisional Allotment Letter (from JoSAA/CSAB).

Character, Migration, and Transfer Certificates.
