Established in 2017 under the Sarala Birla University Act, it aims to build a modern institution grounded in the values of its founders, the Late Dr. Basant Kumar Birla and Dr. Sarala Birla. The SBU campus is situated amidst the verdant surroundings, stretching over nearly 60 acres of land owned by Bharat Arogya & Gyan Mandir at Birla Campus, Vill - Ara, P.O. – Mahilong, Ranchi-Purulia Highway, Ranchi.
