Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have completed 10 2 or equivalent from a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, or State Boards).

Core subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required for General category students.
-
Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) may be eligible with 40% aggregate marks.

Age Requirement:

The candidate must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the admission year.

NEET-UG Requirement:
-
Admission is strictly based on NEET-UG qualification.
-
Candidates must have appeared for NEET-UG and secured a valid score above the qualifying cut-off.

NEET is mandatory for all categories, including NRI and foreign candidates.

For Foreign/NRI Candidates:
-
Must have completed higher secondary education equivalent to Indian standards.

Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

NEET-UG qualification is also mandatory.
